Which MAGZO product should I choose?

If your main goal is bug protection, airflow, and easy access for kids or pets, choose a product from the Mesh Series, such as a Magnetic Screen Door. If you want a stronger, more long-term screen solution, choose an aluminum folding or sliding screen door. If you need insulation, choose a Custom Thermal Insulated Door Curtain. If you need privacy or light blocking, choose a Custom Blackout Door Curtain or Cellular Door Shade.

What is the difference between a magnetic screen door and an aluminum folding or sliding screen door?

A magnetic screen door is a soft mesh curtain. It is easy to install, budget-friendly, and ideal for everyday bug protection and airflow.

An aluminum folding or sliding screen door has an aluminum frame. It is more stable, more durable, and has a cleaner finished look, making it better for long-term use, patio doors, balcony doors, sliding doors, and large openings.

Why does MAGZO recommend aluminum folding and sliding screen doors?

MAGZO recommends aluminum folding and sliding screen doors for customers who want a stronger, cleaner, and more long-lasting screen solution. Compared with a soft magnetic screen curtain, an aluminum frame screen door is more stable, more durable, and looks more like a permanent door system.

If you only need simple bug protection and airflow, a magnetic screen door is a great choice. If you want a more premium and long-term solution, we recommend an aluminum folding or sliding screen door.

How do I choose center opening, side opening, or double opening magnetic screen doors?

For most standard single doors or sliding doors, a center opening magnetic screen door works well. If a handle, lock, wall, or furniture blocks the center opening area, a Side Opening Magnetic Screen Door may be a better choice. For French doors, double doors, large patio doors, or wide openings, choose a Double Opening Magnetic Screen Door.

What is the difference between Foldable Screen Door and Pleated Screen Door?

A Foldable Screen Door folds to the side and is suitable for customers who want a framed screen that saves space. A Pleated Screen Door uses pleated mesh that retracts neatly to one side, giving a cleaner look for patio doors, balcony doors, and sliding doors.

What is the difference between Regular Mesh and Heavy Duty Mesh?

Regular Mesh is 16 × 18 mesh. It has smaller holes and is suitable for everyday home use. It helps keep mosquitoes and other small insects out, while being lighter than Heavy Duty Mesh.

Heavy Duty Mesh is 15 × 12 mesh. It is heavier and more resistant to tearing and biting. If you have dogs or cats, or if the screen door will be used frequently, Heavy Duty Mesh is the better choice.

Regular Mesh has smaller holes. Why not choose it for every situation?

Regular Mesh is lighter and has smaller holes, making it a good choice for normal household mosquito protection. Heavy Duty Mesh is stronger and more resistant to tearing. The better option depends on whether you care more about smaller insects and lighter airflow, or durability for pets and frequent use.

Will Heavy Duty Mesh reduce airflow?

Heavy Duty Mesh is thicker and heavier, so airflow and visibility may be slightly lower than Regular Mesh. However, it is more durable and better for homes with pets, children, or frequent door traffic.

Which mesh should I choose if I have pets?

We recommend Heavy Duty Mesh. It is more resistant to tearing, pulling, and biting, making it more suitable for homes with dogs or cats.

How do I choose black, gray, or white screen door mesh?

Black mesh looks classic, matches dark frames well, and usually gives a clearer view from inside to outside. Gray mesh is versatile and works with most door frame colors. White mesh looks brighter and matches white or light-colored frames, but it may show dust more easily.

Which mesh color is easier to keep clean?

Black and gray mesh usually hide dust better. White mesh looks clean and bright, but dust and stains may be more noticeable.

Does a mesh screen door provide privacy?

No. A mesh screen door is mainly designed for bug protection and airflow. If you need privacy, light blocking, or insulation, choose a Blackout Door Curtain, Thermal Insulated Door Curtain, or Cellular Door Shade.

Can I order a custom size if my door is not standard?

Yes. Many MAGZO products support custom size. Please enter the width and height according to the product page instructions. If your door frame is unusual, please contact us with photos and measurements before placing your order.

How should I measure for a custom magnetic screen door?

Please measure the actual mounting area where the screen door will be attached. For magnetic screen doors, this is usually the outer surface of the door frame where the hook-and-loop tape can be applied, not only the open doorway space.

Why should I not measure only the open doorway?

The screen door needs to attach to the door frame surface. If you measure only the open doorway, the screen may be too narrow and may not cover the frame properly, leaving gaps that affect bug protection and closing performance.

What if my size is between two standard options?

We recommend choosing custom size or contacting MAGZO before ordering. Please provide your door frame width, height, and photos so we can help confirm the best size.

What happens if I provide the wrong measurements?

Custom-made products are produced according to the measurements provided by the customer. Size problems caused by incorrect customer measurements are usually not considered product defects, so please check your measurements carefully before ordering.

Can MAGZO help confirm my size before I order?

Yes. Please send us photos of your door frame, the width and height, the intended mounting position, and the product you want to buy. We will do our best to help you confirm the correct size.

Is a magnetic screen door easy to install?

Yes. Most customers can install it using the included hook-and-loop tape, tacks, and accessories. Before installation, clean and dry the door frame surface, then align the top and sides carefully.

Do I need to drill holes to install a magnetic screen door?

Usually no complicated drilling is required. Most installations use hook-and-loop tape. Depending on the door frame material, tacks may also be used to reinforce the screen.

Can I install it on wood, metal, or aluminum door frames?

In most cases, yes. The surface should be clean, flat, and dry. Rough, dusty, wet, peeling, or uneven surfaces may affect adhesion.

Should the bottom of the screen door drag on the floor?

No. The bottom should not drag heavily on the floor. If it drags, it may affect magnetic closing and cause faster wear. A natural vertical fit with the bottom slightly above the floor is usually better.

Will wind blow the magnetic screen door open?

Light wind usually does not affect normal use. In strong wind or high-pressure areas, the magnets may open, especially if the screen is not installed evenly or the size is not correct. Make sure the top and sides are securely attached.

What should I do if the magnets do not close properly?

Check whether the screen is installed crooked, whether the bottom drags on the floor, and whether the left and right sides are too tight or too loose. Readjusting the top and side positions usually improves the closing performance.

What should I do if the hook-and-loop tape does not stick well?

Clean and dry the door frame surface first. Dust, oil, moisture, rough walls, or peeling paint may reduce adhesion. If needed, use tacks or another suitable fixing method for your door frame material.

Will the hook-and-loop tape damage my door frame?

Usually it does not cause major damage, but different paint, wood, wall surfaces, or finishes may react differently. When removed, adhesive marks or surface damage may occur. Renters should test a small hidden area first.

Can I install a screen door on the outside of a sliding patio door?

Yes. Many customers use MAGZO magnetic screen doors or aluminum folding/sliding screen doors for patio sliding doors. Please measure the actual mounting area instead of only measuring the glass door panel.

Who should choose an aluminum folding or sliding screen door?

Choose an aluminum folding or sliding screen door if you want a more stable, more durable, and more finished screen solution. It is suitable for patio doors, balcony doors, back doors, sliding doors, and large openings.

Why do aluminum frame products take longer to ship?

Aluminum frame products are usually larger, more structured, and more complex to package and transport. They often require custom production and special shipping arrangements, so the delivery time may be longer than soft mesh curtain products.

Can I install an aluminum screen door myself?

Some customers can install aluminum screen doors themselves, but these products require more accurate measurements and suitable mounting space. Please confirm your door frame structure, installation space, and size before ordering.

Which is more durable: aluminum screen door or magnetic screen curtain?

An aluminum screen door is usually more durable and more stable for long-term use. A magnetic screen curtain is lighter, easier to install, and more budget-friendly for everyday bug protection and airflow.

What is the difference between a screen door curtain and a thermal insulated door curtain?

A screen door curtain is mainly for bug protection and airflow. A thermal insulated door curtain is mainly for insulation, draft reduction, and temperature control. If you want fresh air, choose a Mesh Series product. If you want insulation, choose a Thermal Insulated Door Curtain.

Can a thermal insulated door curtain keep bugs out?

A thermal insulated door curtain is mainly designed for insulation, wind blocking, and temperature control. It is not primarily a bug-protection product. For bug protection and airflow, choose a Mesh Series screen product.

What is the difference between Blackout Door Curtain and Thermal Insulated Door Curtain?

A Blackout Door Curtain is mainly for light blocking and privacy. A Thermal Insulated Door Curtain is mainly for reducing heat, cold air, and drafts. Choose Blackout if you need privacy and light control. Choose Thermal Insulated if you want better temperature control.

How do I choose between Blackout Door Curtain and Cellular Door Shade?

A Blackout Door Curtain is a soft curtain, suitable for doorways, interior doors, bedrooms, bathrooms, and areas that need privacy or light blocking. A Cellular Door Shade has a cleaner shade-style appearance and is better for light control, privacy, and insulation.

Can a Cellular Door Shade provide airflow?

No. A Cellular Door Shade is designed for privacy, light control, and insulation. It is not a ventilation or bug-protection product.

Which product should I choose for privacy?

Choose a Blackout Door Curtain, Thermal Insulated Door Curtain, or Cellular Door Shade. Mesh screen doors are mainly for airflow and bug protection, and they do not provide full privacy.

How long does production take?

Most MAGZO products require about 3–7 business days for production and order preparation. Custom-made products may vary depending on size, quantity, product type, and seasonal order volume.

How long does shipping take?

Many fabric and mesh products usually arrive about 7–15 days after production. Aluminum frame products, oversized products, and structural products may take longer because they require special packaging and shipping methods.

Why has my tracking information not updated yet?

Custom products must be produced before shipment. Tracking information is usually generated after production is complete and the package is handed to the carrier. It may also take several days for a new tracking number to show updates.

Where do MAGZO orders ship from?

MAGZO orders may ship from different fulfillment locations depending on product type, inventory, customization requirements, and destination. Some standard products may ship from the U.S. warehouse, while some custom-made products may ship from our customization center in China.

Why did my order ship in multiple packages?

If your order includes different product types, such as magnetic screen doors, aluminum doors, insulated curtains, or cellular shades, they may be produced or shipped from different locations. In that case, your order may arrive in separate packages.

Are there extra shipping fees for remote areas?

Remote areas, oversized products, special dimensions, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other limited delivery regions may require additional shipping fees. The final fee depends on product size, shipping method, and destination.

Can I change the size after placing a custom order?

If your order has not entered production, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to help. Once production has started, the size usually cannot be changed.

Why might MAGZO email me to confirm my size?

Custom products are made according to the measurements provided by the customer. To reduce sizing errors, MAGZO may email you to confirm size, door type, order details, or other required information. Please check your inbox, spam folder, and promotions folder after ordering.

What happens if I do not reply to a confirmation email?

If your order requires confirmation and we do not receive a reply, production or shipping may be delayed. Please respond as soon as possible so we can continue processing your order.

Can I cancel a custom order?

If the order has not entered production, please contact us immediately and we will try to help. If production has already started, custom orders usually cannot be canceled.

Can custom-made products be returned or exchanged?

Custom-made products are generally not eligible for return or exchange unless there is a confirmed quality issue, missing part, wrong item, or order error caused by MAGZO.

Can regular products be returned?

Eligible products may be returned within 30 calendar days after delivery. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Please contact MAGZO before sending any item back.

What should I do if my item arrives damaged, missing parts, or incorrect?

Please contact seller@magzo.com as soon as possible with your order number, photos or videos of the issue, and packaging photos if the package was damaged. We will review the issue and may arrange replacement parts, a replacement item, a repair solution, or a refund depending on the situation.

Can I return an item if I ordered the wrong size?

If the wrong size was caused by customer measurement error, wrong size selection, or change of mind, it is usually considered a buyer-related reason. The customer may be responsible for return shipping costs, and custom-made products are generally not covered by standard return rules.

When will I receive my refund?

After the returned item is received and inspected, the review is usually completed within 5 business days. Once approved, refunds usually take 5–10 business days to return to the original payment method, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Is the business address the return address?

No. Please do not ship returns to any business address without authorization. Returns must be approved by MAGZO first, and the correct return address will be provided after approval. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

What information should I provide when contacting customer support?

Please include your order number, product name, door frame width and height, photos of the doorway, a description of the issue, and your main goal, such as bug protection, airflow, pet resistance, privacy, light blocking, or insulation.
